1st place finish
Sarah Haskins, Professional Triathlete (SarahHaskins.com)
MAT has changed my career!  Prior to beginning MAT, I was unable to finish a triathlon season without a major injury.  Now I am able to focus on training and racing without the stress of worrying about an injury.  MAT helped my body overcome compensation issues due to years of training. -- Sarah Haskins
MAT's accurate and thorough examination of the musculoskeletal system allows precise identification of areas of dysfunction and facilitation of muscular recruitment in dysfunctional areas.  This allows for quicker return to sport and less pain inhibition.  I have been amazed by the quick response of recovery and the athlete's overall improvement in performance. --Diane Percy, Physical Therapist

MAT has proven to be the most effective treatment I have experienced to relieve complex muscle and joint problems in my 28-year history of chronic disease. -- Matt Redder

Patrick Chan, 6-time Canadian champion, 2-time World Champion figure skater (www.PatrickChan.ca)
I've competed in Figure Skating for 16 years and along the way I've had all types of treatment from many qualified individuals. However, I found that many times they would treat the symptom of an injury (discomfort, sharp pain, etc.) but rarely was there a solution to the cause of the symptom. Once I began using Muscle Activation Techniques (TM) in 2010, I saw noticeable improvements in my movements on and off the ice....  Figure Skating is a sport of precision and finesse, where proper alignment and muscular balance is key.  I have incorporated [MAT] regularly in the weeks of training that I do, before and after practice.  I've also used MAT exercises to keep my body healthy while competing overseas in Asia and Europe. I am grateful to [MAT] to help me achieve the very best in my sport and I continue to look forward to future challenges in my athletic career. --Patrick Chan

Muscle Mechanics MAT offers a unique tool that I can say, without hesitation, prolonged my career and allowed me to compete in my third Olympic Trials.  I have relied on MAT to take my career to the next level and could not have achieved the success I have experienced without it. --Dana Pounds-Lyon

Alan Arata, Ph.D. (Head Swim and Dive Coach at Lewis Palmer, 2009 All-Colorado Swim Coach of the Year, 2009 & 2010 4A State Champions)
I’m pretty sure most people would have said the Lewis-Palmer Swim/Dive Team performed beyond expectations this year, not so much in our winning our first State title, but in the individual and relay performances that we put together throughout the end of the season.  At the State Championships, we won two relays and two individual events.  We had three automatic All-American times and two All-American Consideration times.  Without exception, the guys swimming these times had had MAT performed on them.  Not just once, but several times down the stretch so they could get more out of each practice, each meet going into the end of the season.  We had tune-ups on several of the guys the morning of the State Finals.  Unquestionably, MAT helps athletes perform closer to their potential.  After observing the results of MAT for more than a year now, I believe that if you are not getting MAT, you are training and competing with a handicap. --Alan Arata, Ph.D.

Hunter Kemper, USA Triathlete; 2000, 2004, 2008, & 2012 Olympian
I have struggled with injuries for the past few years, which have kept me out of competing in triathlons.  I started using MAT in February 2010 and have seen a tremendous amount of improvement in my overall health.  As I get older, I realize how important it is to take care of the little things in order to maximize performance.

I have incorporated MAT into my daily routine before I run, bike, or swim.  It is amazing how vital it is to activate your muscles correctly in order to get the most out of each training session.  I am once again competing at the highest level in the world and winning big races thanks to MAT. --Hunter Kemper

Liz Podominick (7 time NCAA D1 National Competitor (disc and shot put), 4 time Big Ten Champion, 6th at 2011 USA Track and Field, Championships in women’s disc, 5th at 2012 USAT&F Olympic Trials)
My body has taken a lot of beating during and since college when I played basketball and threw for the track and field team. I have had ankle stability and strength issues since high school and have a tendency to twist my ankles often (even just walking). I was amazed how quickly my range of motion and strength increased with a few of the isometric exercises.  It also became apparent my body had other areas of instability and weakness. After a couple of MAT sessions and following the exercises,  I feel like I have been able to get into better throwing positions and my quality of training has dramatically increased.  It’s the little things that matter at this level and I feel Muscle Activation Techniques has given me an edge as I prepare for the 2012 Olympic Trials and my future in track and field. --Liz Podominick
